Hubby is in the Army. We had a WWII themed wedding. We have relatives in nearly every branch. So basically, we're a bit patriotic. Not tacky patriotic, but patriotic. For a couple years now, I've had this idea in my head of taking old school military elements to decorate our formal dining room. It's where we'll do much of our entertaining when it comes to Patrick's career and it's a nice way to pay tribute to our family members.
So, yesterday, we went walking around Depot Town. Depot Town is a beautiful little section of Ypsilanti, MI that features antique stores, good food, farmers market & beautiful parks. We stopped into
Kim's Resale Shop and picked up this little treasure to add to vintage military decor.
I can't wait to find the perfect frame for it.
